A country’s economic growth is said to help the poor and eradicate poverty if it is “pro-poor”, in that its impacts are broad-based, and benefit the poor in absolute terms. This research seeks to explore whether Indonesia’s sustained growth between 2007-2014 were pro-poor by examining a panel data of household survey results given by the Indonesian Family Life Survey. Furthermore, since measurement errors are plentiful especially in household survey datasets, appropriate measures will be taken to remove, or at least minimize the resulting bias of this problem.
